X Things to do in Maui

Hike through the Haleakala crater (approx. 5 hour hike)

Drop $10 on a snorkling kit and get in the water

Walk around Lahaina - the Whyte Ave of Maui

Bring your rented boogie board to the beach; be on a lookout for whales

Visit the Iao Valley for breathtaking scenery and exotic plants

Have breakfast in Pa'ia, the hippie town (Willie Nelson's hangout)

Travel the nrrw and winding road to Hana and stop for banana bread

Watch the sunset on the beach. 2 points if you're at an oceanfront restaurant. +25 if you witness the "green flash"

Go to the whalers' village in Kaanapali, stop by the whaling museum and get grossed out by all the harpoons they used for whaling. Empty your stomach, then...

Enjoy a good buffet feast and hula/fireknife dancers at a Luau

Jon and I took Izzy to the Maui Ocean Center on our last trip to Maui and thought it was a great family locale.

And for the more adventurous, there is always Little Beach!
